The industrial furnace consumes a lot of coal, oil, gas and electric energy, and the consumption of coke is also quite large. In general machinery plant, the energy consumption of industrial furnace accounts for 40% - 60% of the total energy consumption of the whole plant. For the heat processing plant, it can reach more than 80%.

The energy consumption of industrial furnace is really large. Take electric furnace as an example. First, the device capacity of electric furnace is large. The power of an ordinary rjx-30-9 box type resistance furnace is 30kW, while the motor capacity of an ordinary c162 lathe is only 7KW. Some large furnaces have a capacity of several hundred kilowatts or even nearly one thousand kilowatts. Second, the working time of electric furnace is long. Generally speaking, it takes a certain period of time for the furnace to heat up and keep warm. Some furnaces have to work continuously for several days or even as long as several months before they shut down. This is quite different from the working nature of general cold processing equipment.
